If you haven’t been living under a rock, you know that the Cactus League Spring Training in Arizona is one of the most exciting sporting events to look forward to every year. Although there was much speculation on whether the much anticipated baseball affair would push through this year, due to the ongoing global health crisis, league officials assure us that the event is still on in 2021.

Baseball Adapting for Safety
Because of the pandemic, things might feel a lot different this year.
- Stadiums will be operating in reduced capacities
- Masks are required to be worn except when actively eating or drinking
- No bags will be allowed inside the stadiums aside from small clutches, wallets, diaper bags, and medical bags
- Pre-game practices and autographs will be closed to the public
- Concessions will have limited, pre-packaged offerings
Venues and Ticket Dates
Season tickets are not available this year. Here’s what to look forward to in the coming week:
Los Angeles Angels
- Tempe Diablo Stadium – 2200 W Alameda Dr, Tempe, AZ 85282
- Spring Training tickets for Angels home games go on sale Tuesday, Feb. 23 at 10 AM MT
- Stadium will operate at about 25% capacity (between 1800–2000 guests)
Chicago Cubs
- Sloan Park – 2330 W Rio Salado Pkwy, Mesa, AZ 85201
- Tickets for Cubs home games go on sale Friday, Feb. 19 at noon MT
- Only up to 4000 guests will be allowed inside
- Tickets will be sold in pods of 2, 4, and 6
Oakland Athletics
- Hohokam Stadium – 1235 N Center St, Mesa, AZ 85201
- Tickets go on sale Thursday, Feb. 18 at 11 AM MT
- Hohokam Stadium will operate at about 20% (2000 guests) of its normal capacity
- Tickets will be sold in pods of 2 and 4
Milwaukee Brewers
- American Family Fields – 3805 N 53rd Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85031
- Tickets go on sale Thursday, Feb. 18 at 9 AM MT
- Guest capacity limited to 2300 guests
- Tickets will be sold in pods of 2 and 4
San Francisco Giants
- Scottsdale Stadium – 7408 E Osborn Rd, Scottsdale, AZ 85251
- Ticket on-sale dates have not been released at the time of this blog
- Only up to 1000 guests have been approved to enter
- Seats will be sold in pods of 2, 4, and 6
