Rides from the Airport
PHX
At Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX), where VIP Taxi is a contracted taxi service, a rate of $17 to Downtown Phoenix has been implemented. Outside of that, rates remain the same regardless of company, number of passengers, and number of bags with the first mile at $5 and each additional mile at $2.30. Each hour or traffic delay is at $23 and the minimum fare is at $15.
TUS
For Tucson International Airport (TUS), under contracts with the Tucson Airport Authority (TAA), taxi rates are set to start at $5.50 and $2.25 per additional with a $12.00 minimum fare. Delays to up to an hour will have a charge of $22 per hour. There are no additional charges for up to three passengers or normal baggage.
